And Repeat!!

Ok this is almost embarrassing to have to say this again but here goes nothing……I HAVE NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT lol!!!!!!

OK, let me clarify that statement….I have no new projects to share again, there, that’s better lol! I have actually been sewing a lot this past week but once again, it’s repeat projects….more masks, more harnesses and another minky blanket!

I naively had assumed/hoped we wouldn’t still be wearing masks at this point but we sure are, at least here in Ontario anyway so my thought was, well, always is…we have to wear them, might as well have fun with them so with that in mind, I made up some Halloween masks for my friend and I and just when I was almost finished those, my husband came in and asked where his was lol!! Seemed rude not to make one for my friend’s husband too and then I thought I might as well ask my kids too…..so 4 more masks were on the go lol! My son and his girlfriend are going on a Haunted Hayride in a couple of weeks so they thought it would be fun to have masks that glowed in the dark lol!

I think I previously told you that I’m redoing our bedroom and that’s what the latest minky blanket is for, a throw to curl up in while I’m watching movies or reading on our new comfy king size bed! I have one more piece of furniture to paint and a special piece of artwork to get and then I’ll share a before and after picture the room…..not because there’s lots of my sewing projects in there but because I can show you what’s been taking all my time up lately lol!!

Here’s a quick little pic of my minky blanket for you that I snapped as I was still sewing it lol!! I chose to use the Cloud Galaxy and a Black Smooth from our new line of minky from Red Pine, and let me tell you, I’m a fan!!!!!! It seems fluffier than the Shannon Smooth minky and I can tell you that it washed and dried perfectly (I know not everyone machine dries their minky but I do and I’ve had no problems!)!
