Wicked Good!

Here we are, it’s Monday and it’s been a whole 3 days since I saw the movie and I feel like I’m just starting to wrap my head around the whole thing lol!

These movies, ugggggʻ….they just do something to me! I read a comment from a fellow fan that obviously feels the same way as I do because their words could have been mine, “I feel like I left a piece of my heart in that theater “!!!!

I’m not going to give away any details, no spoilers here, but I will just say that I loved every second it! It explained so many things, I caught myself saying “aaaahhhh that’s how/why that happened”….and the songs, oh my heart, soooo good!

Ok but that’s enough of my rantings lol! Let’s get down to what we’re here for, which is me showing you the next project I made with the Wicked For Good fabrics! This is another super quick project, and another one where the variations are endless but as soon as I saw this version, I knew it was the one I wanted to make! Let me just put the picture here first and see if you know what it is….

So….any guesses?!? Yes, you’re right…they’re cute little tissue pack holders!!! Once again, this is a project I’ve seen floating around out there for years and just never got around to trying it, even though I end up wasting so many of the little tissue packages because they get ruined as they’re floating around the bottom of my purse!

What I particularly liked about this version was the fun little accent of the different fabric along the opening and also that there are actual boxed corners so that it fits the package perfectly! Was it a bit fiddly boxing those corners? Maybe a bit but not too bad at all, and if you didn’t want to do them, you certainly don’t have too! I’d suggest giving it a try and seeing for yourself!

There were so many tutorials on YouTube, but I ended up following along with one from Jann Newton of Sew Often and it was a great little tutorial! There’s not talking, just printed words on the screen but this is not a complicated project at all so you’ll be fine…..I promise lol! Within such a short time I had finished the 2 little contrasting tissue holders, which was just so satisfying! I’ve already popped this little pouch in my purse (that’s a lot of “p”s lol) and it makes me smile to see it in there! No more scrounging around looking for that ratty little plastic package, it’s all nice and neat and clean and looking cute lol!

I’m sure this is a project many of you have made over the years and maybe you’ve forgotten about it so here’s your reminder to make more! I think this would be a great item to have on your table at craft sales, and you could easily include the pack of tissues for not much money at all! It’s a great scrap buster too, you need such a small amount of fabric, perfect for those little leftover pieces that aren’t big enough for almost anything!

I have one more project to share with you next week, and yet again, it’s a good one so until then, take care my friends! I hope you have a wonderful week ahead of you!
